How To Do It
So The Flying Pig’s Sausage Box comes packed with a variety of different sausages, from various boerewors flavours to smoked sausages…….And Droewors. Yes, the best PORK Droewors you will ever taste.
For this recipe I braaied the smoked Russians, Cheese Russians, Cheese Grillers and Pork sausages.
Whilst the sausages where simmering over open fire we got our iron pan heated up, braised some onions in butter, added the chopped streaky bacon and simmered for about 8mins.
Then we added our can of braai relish, baked beans, kidney beans and stirred. A dash or 2 of some hot sauce and chutney for flavour, stir some more.
Now your sausages should be ready. Grab 2 of each and chop them up and add them to your simmering pan. Add in the cream cheese, salt and pepper for flavour and stir again.
Now you are ready for the eggs. Make small holes evenly spaced in your mixture, break open the eggs and wait…………
In a separate grid, place your sliced ciabatta bread and toast over open coals. Once ready, smear your warm toast with farm fresh butter, scoop up an egg or two and add some delicious sauce. Let’s eat.
Half eaten of bush breakfast braai deliciousness
Ranger Tip
If you have a lid for your pan use it, it speeds up the process of cooking the eggs. I used tin foil. My iron pan doesn’t have a lid. Bush trick.
